The remote SUSE host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote SUSE Linux SLED15 / SLED_SAP15 / SLES15 / SLES_SAP15 / openSUSE 15 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SUSE-SU-2023:4330-1 advisory.

- Multiple signed integers overflow in function au_read_header in src/au.c and in functions mat4_open and mat4_read_header in src/mat4.c in Libsndfile, allows an attacker to cause Denial of Service or other unspecified impacts. (CVE-2022-33065)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected libsndfile-devel, libsndfile-progs, libsndfile1 and / or libsndfile1-32bit packages.
