Synopsis

The remote Amazon Linux 2 host is missing a security update.

Description

The version of gstreamer1-plugins-bad-free installed on the remote host is prior to 1.18.4-5. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the ALAS2-2023-2355 advisory.

- Fixes for GStreamer-SA-2023-0010 (ZDI-CAN-22299) and GStreamer-SA-2023-0009 (ZDI-CAN-22226) (CVE-2023-44429) (CVE-2023-44429)

- MXF demuxer use-after-free vulnerability [fedora-all] (CVE-2023-44446)
