Synopsis

The remote Amazon Linux 2023 host is missing a security update.

Description

It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ALAS2023-2023-452 advisory.

In buc Traceroute 2.0.12 through 2.1.2 before 2.1.3, the wrapper scripts do not properly parse command lines. (CVE-2023-46316)

Solution

Run 'dnf update traceroute --releasever 2023.2.20231211' to update your system.
