The remote NewStart CGSL host is affected by a vulnerability.

Description

The remote NewStart CGSL host, running version MAIN 5.04, has gettext packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability:

- An issue was discovered in GNU gettext 0.19.8. There is a double free in default_add_message in read- catalog.c, related to an invalid free in po_gram_parse in po-gram-gen.y, as demonstrated by lt-msgfmt.
(CVE-2018-18751)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade the vulnerable CGSL gettext packages. Note that updated packages may not be available yet. Please contact ZTE for more information.
