Synopsis

The remote openSUSE host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote openSUSE 15 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the openSUSE- SU-2023:0419-1 advisory.

- An attacker who has the privilege to configure Zabbix items can use function icmpping() with additional malicious command inside it to execute arbitrary code on the current Zabbix server. (CVE-2023-32727)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
