Description

The version of GitLab installed on the remote host is affected by a vulnerability, as follows:

- In all versions of GitLab CE/EE since version 12.0, a lower privileged user can import users from projects that they don't have a maintainer role on and disclose email addresses of those users. (CVE-2021-39892)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to GitLab version 14.1.7, 14.2.5, 14.3.1 or later.
