Description

The version of GitLab installed on the remote host is affected by a vulnerability, as follows:

- An issue in Incident Timelines has been discovered in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions starting from 14.9 before 15.1.6, all versions starting from 15.2 before 15.2.4, all versions starting from 15.3 before 15.3.2.which allowed an authenticated attacker to inject arbitrary content. A victim interacting with this content could lead to arbitrary requests. (CVE-2022-2527)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to GitLab version 15.1.6, 15.2.4, 15.3.2 or later.
