Description

The version of GitLab installed on the remote host is affected by a vulnerability, as follows:

- Improper validation of invited users' email address in GitLab EE affecting all versions since 12.2 allowed projects to add members with email address domain that should be blocked by group settings (CVE-2021-22251)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to GitLab version 13.12.9, 14.0.7, 14.1.2 or later.
