The remote Ubuntu host is missing a security update.Description
The remote Ubuntu 22.04 LTS host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the USN-6576-1 advisory.Lonial Con discovered that the netfilter subsystem in the Linux kernel did not properly handle an expired catchall element in some situations, leading to a use-after-free vulnerability. A local attacker could use this to cause a denial of service (system crash) or possibly execute arbitrary code.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
