The remote SUSE host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote SUSE Linux SLES15 / openSUSE 15 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SUSE-SU-2024:0103-1 advisory.

- A CSRF forgery vulnerability exists in rails < 5.2.5, rails < 6.0.4 that makes it possible for an attacker to, given a global CSRF token such as the one present in the authenticity_token meta tag, forge a per-form CSRF token. (CVE-2020-8166)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected ruby2.5-rubygem-actionpack-5_1 and / or ruby2.5-rubygem-actionpack-doc-5_1 packages.
