Synopsis

The remote Red Hat host is missing a security update for libssh.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 8 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the RHSA-2024:0628 advisory.

 libssh is a library which implements the SSH protocol. It can be used to implement client and server applications.

 Security Fix(es):

 * ssh: Prefix truncation attack on Binary Packet Protocol (BPP) (CVE-2023-48795)
