Description

The remote host is affected by the vulnerability described in GLSA-202402-04 (GNAT Ada Suite: Remote Code Execution)

 - In Python 3 through 3.9.0, the Lib/test/multibytecodec_support.py CJK codec tests call eval() on content retrieved via HTTP. (CVE-2020-27619)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Gentoo has discontinued support for GNAT Ada Suite. We recommend that users unmerge it:

 # emerge --ask --depclean dev-ada/gnat-suite-bin
