Synopsis

The remote EulerOS host is missing a security update.

Description

According to the versions of the python-pygments package installed, the EulerOS installation on the remote host is affected by the following vulnerabilities :

 - The FontManager._get_nix_font_path function in formatters/img.py in Pygments 1.2.2 through 2.0.2 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via shell metacharacters in a font name. (CVE-2015-8557)

Note that Tenable Network Security has extracted the preceding description block directly from the EulerOS security advisory. Tenable has attempted to automatically clean and format it as much as possible without introducing additional issues.

Solution

Update the affected python-pygments packages.
