Synopsis

The remote CentOS host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote CentOS Linux 8 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CESA-2024:0786 advisory.

- Multiple NSS NIST curves were susceptible to a side-channel attack known as Minerva. This attack could potentially allow an attacker to recover the private key. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 121.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
