The remote CentOS host is missing a security update for podman.

Description

The remote CentOS Linux 9 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the podman-4.3.0-2.el9 build changelog.

- Non-random values for ticket_age_add in session tickets in crypto/tls before Go 1.17.11 and Go 1.18.3 allow an attacker that can observe TLS handshakes to correlate successive connections by comparing ticket ages during session resumption. (CVE-2022-30629)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the CentOS 9 Stream podman package.
