Synopsis

The remote Ubuntu host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The remote Ubuntu 23.10 host has a package installed that is affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the USN-6689-1 advisory.

 It was discovered that Rack incorrectly parse some headers. An attacker could possibly use this issue to cause a denial of service. (CVE-2023-27539, CVE-2024-26141, CVE-2024-26146)

Solution

Update the affected ruby-rack package.
