Synopsis

The version of Microsoft Edge running on the Android mobile device is affected by a spoofing vulnerability.

Description

An spoofing vulnerability exists in Microsoft Edge for Android. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit this to trick end users into potentially revealing sensitive information.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Microsoft Edge version to 122.0.2365.76 or later
