Synopsis

The remote Red Hat host is missing a security update for rh-haproxy18-haproxy.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 7 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the RHSA-2018:1372 advisory.

- haproxy: Heap buffer overflow in mux_h2.c:h2_process_demux() can allow attackers to cause a denial of service (CVE-2018-10184)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the RHEL rh-haproxy18-haproxy package based on the guidance in RHSA-2018:1372.
