Description

The version of GitLab installed on the remote host is affected by a vulnerability, as follows:

- An issue has been discovered in GitLab affecting all versions starting with 11.8. GitLab was vulnerable to a stored XSS in the epics page, which could be exploited with user interactions. (CVE-2021-22183)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to GitLab version 13.6.6, 13.7.6, 13.8.2 or later.
