Description

The version of GitLab installed on the remote host is affected by a vulnerability, as follows:

- Improper group membership validation when deleting a user account in GitLab >=7.12 allows a user to delete own account without deleting/transferring their group. (CVE-2020-13335)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to GitLab version 13.2.10, 13.3.7, 13.4.2 or later.
