Description

The version of GitLab installed on the remote host is affected by a vulnerability, as follows:

- A vulnerability was discovered in GitLab versions before 12.2. GitLab was vulnerable to a SSRF attack through the Outbound Requests feature. (CVE-2021-22179)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to GitLab version 13.6.6, 13.7.6, 13.8.2 or later.
