Description

The version of GitLab installed on the remote host is affected by a vulnerability, as follows:

- In GitLab before 13.0.12, 13.1.6 and 13.2.3 using a branch with a hexadecimal name could override an existing hash. (CVE-2020-13293)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to GitLab version 13.0.12, 13.1.6, 13.2.3 or later.
