Synopsis

The remote Red Hat host is missing a security update for zziplib.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 8 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the RHSA-2024:3127 advisory.

 The zziplib is a lightweight library to easily extract data from zip files.

 Security Fix(es):

 * zziplib: invalid memory access at zzip_disk_entry_to_file_header in mmapped.c (CVE-2020-18770)
