Synopsis

The remote SUSE host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote SUSE Linux SLES15 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SUSE- SU-2024:1805-1 advisory.

- CVE-2024-2961: Fixed that the iconv() function in the GNU C Library may overflow the output buffer passed to it by up to 4 bytes when converting strings to the ISO-2022-CN-EXT character set (bsc#1223019).
