Synopsis

The remote EulerOS host is missing a security update.

Description

According to the versions of the python-pycryptodome package installed, the EulerOS installation on the remote host is affected by the following vulnerabilities :

 PyCryptodome and pycryptodomex before 3.19.1 allow side-channel leakage for OAEP decryption, exploitable for a Manger attack.(CVE-2023-52323)

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the EulerOS python-pycryptodome security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected python-pycryptodome packages.
