Synopsis

The remote Amazon Linux 2 host is missing a security update.

Description

The version of kernel installed on the remote host is prior to 5.10.201-191.748. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ALAS2KERNEL-5.10-2024-061 advisory.

 In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

 tipc: Change nla_policy for bearer-related names to NLA_NUL_STRING (CVE-2023-52845)
