Synopsis

The remote CBL Mariner host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of rpm-ostree / kata-containers installed on the remote CBL Mariner 2.0 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CVE-2023-26964 advisory.

 - An issue was discovered in hyper v0.13.7. h2-0.2.4 Stream stacking occurs when the H2 component processes HTTP2 RST_STREAM frames. As a result, the memory and CPU usage are high which can lead to a Denial of Service (DoS). (CVE-2023-26964)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
