Synopsis
The remote CBL Mariner host is missing one or more security updates.Description
The version of wordnet installed on the remote CBL Mariner 2.0 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CVE-2008-2149 advisory.- Stack-based buffer overflow in the searchwn function in Wordnet 2.0, 2.1, and 3.0 might allow context- dependent attackers to execute arbitrary code via a long command line option. NOTE: this issue probably does not cross privilege boundaries except in cases in which Wordnet is used as a back end.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
