Synopsis

The remote CBL Mariner host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of libdb installed on the remote CBL Mariner 2.0 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CVE-2017-3606 advisory.

- Vulnerability in the Data Store component of Oracle Berkeley DB. The supported version that is affected is Prior to 6.2.32. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with logon to the infrastructure where Data Store executes to compromise Data Store. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Data Store. (CVE-2017-3606)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
