Synopsis

The remote CBL Mariner host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of rpm-ostree installed on the remote CBL Mariner 2.0 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CVE-2022-31394 advisory.

 - Hyperium Hyper before 0.14.19 does not allow for customization of the max_header_list_size method in the H2 third-party software, allowing attackers to perform HTTP2 attacks. (CVE-2022-31394)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
