Synopsis

The remote CBL Mariner host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of fluent-bit installed on the remote CBL Mariner 2.0 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CVE-2024-26455 advisory.

 - fluent-bit 2.2.2 contains a Use-After-Free vulnerability in /fluent- bit/plugins/custom_calyptia/calyptia.c. (CVE-2024-26455)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
