The remote SUSE host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The remote SUSE Linux SLED15 / SLED_SAP15 / SLES15 / SLES_SAP15 host has packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the SUSE-SU-2024:2408-1 advisory.

- CVE-2024-5197: Fixed interger overflow when calling vpx_img_alloc() or vpx_img_wrap() with large parameters (bsc#1225879).
- CVE-2023-6349: Fixed heap overflow when encoding a frame that has larger dimensions than the originally configured size (bsc#1225403).

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected libvpx-devel and / or libvpx4 packages.
