Synopsis

The remote host has an application installed that is affected by a mproper input validation vulnerability.

Description

The version of Zoom Workplace Desktop App installed on the remote host is prior to 6.0.0. It is, therefore, affected by a improper input validation vulnerability that allow a local authenticated attacker to conduct a denial of service via network access.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Zoom Workplace Desktop App 6.0.0 or later.
