Description

The version of Google Chrome installed on the remote macOS host is prior to 127.0.6533.88. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the 2024_07_stable-channel-update-for-desktop_30 advisory.

 - Uninitialized Use in Dawn. (CVE-2024-6990)

 - Out of bounds read in WebTransport. (CVE-2024-7255)

 - Insufficient data validation in Dawn. (CVE-2024-7256)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Google Chrome version 127.0.6533.88 or later.
