The Adobe Illustrator instance installed on the remote host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.

Description

The version of Adobe Illustrator installed on the remote Windows host is prior to 27.9.5, 28.6. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the APSB24-45 advisory.

- Out-of-bounds Write (CWE-787) potentially leading to Arbitrary code execution (CVE-2024-34133)

- Divide by Zero (CWE-369) potentially leading to Application denial-of-service (CVE-2024-34118)

- Out-of-bounds Read (CWE-125) potentially leading to Memory leak (CVE-2024-34134, CVE-2024-34135)

- NULL Pointer Dereference (CWE-476) potentially leading to Application denial-of-service (CVE-2024-34136, CVE-2024-34137, CVE-2024-34138)

Solution

Upgrade to Adobe Illustrator version 27.9.5, 28.6 or later.
