Synopsis

The remote CBL Mariner host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of httpd installed on the remote CBL Mariner 2.0 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CVE-2023-38709 advisory.

- Faulty input validation in the core of Apache allows malicious or exploitable backend/content generators to split HTTP responses. This issue affects Apache HTTP Server: through 2.4.58. (CVE-2023-38709)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
