Synopsis

The remote CBL Mariner host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of hyperv-daemons installed on the remote CBL Mariner 2.0 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CVE-2024-35912 advisory.

- In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: iwlwifi: mvm: rfi: fix potential response leaks If the rx payload length check fails, or if kmemdup() fails, we still need to free the command response. Fix that. (CVE-2024-35912)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
