Synopsis

The remote host has an application installed that is affected by information disclosure vulnerability.

Description

The version of Zoom Workplace Desktop App installed on the remote host is prior to 6.1.0. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ZSB-24036 advisory.

 - Business logic error in some Zoom Workplace Apps may allow an unauthenticated user to conduct a disclosure of information via network access. (CVE-2024-45424)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Zoom Client for Meetings 6.1.0 or later.
