Synopsis

The Adobe InCopy instance installed on the remote host is affected by a vulnerability.

Description

The version of Adobe InCopy installed on the remote host is prior to 18.5.4, 19.5.0. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the APSB24-79 advisory.

- InCopy versions 19.4, 18.5.3 and earlier are affected by an Unrestricted Upload of File with Dangerous Type vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution by an attacker. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by uploading a malicious file which can then be executed on the server. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction. (CVE-2024-45136)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Adobe InCopy version 18.5.4, 19.5.0 or later.
