Synopsis

The remote CentOS Linux host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote CentOS Linux 6 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the RHSA-2020:1504 advisory.

- Use after free in speech recognizer in Google Chrome prior to 81.0.4044.113 allowed a remote attacker to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page. (CVE-2020-6457)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected chromium-browser package.
