Synopsis

The remote CentOS Linux host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote CentOS Linux 6 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the RHSA-2020:0084 advisory.

 - Use after free in audio in Google Chrome prior to 79.0.3945.117 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (CVE-2020-6377)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected chromium-browser package.
