Synopsis

The remote Slackware Linux host is missing a security update to mozilla-firefox.

Description

The version of mozilla-firefox installed on the remote host is prior to 115.16.1esr / 128.3.1esr. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SSA:2024-283-01 advisory.

New mozilla-firefox packages are available for Slackware 15.0 and -current to fix a security issue.

Solution

Upgrade the affected mozilla-firefox package.
