The remote host is missing a security update.

Description

The version of Progress Telerik UI for WinForms installed on the remote host is prior to 2024.3.924. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the cve-2024-7679 advisory.

 - In Progress Telerik UI for WinForms versions prior to 2024 Q3 (2024.3.924), a command injection attack is possible through improper neutralization of hyperlink elements. (CVE-2024-7679)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Progress Telerik UI for WinForms version 2024.3.924 or later.
