Synopsis

The remote Atlassian Confluence host is missing a security update.

Description

The version of Atlassian Confluence Server running on the remote host is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CONFSERVER-97711 advisory.

- An issue in Clojure versions 1.20 to 1.12.0-alpha5 allows an attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) via the clojure.core$partial$fn__5920 function. (CVE-2024-22871)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Atlassian Confluence version 7.19.21, 8.5.8, 8.9.1 or later.
