The remote host is missing a security update.

Description

The version of Docker Desktop installed on the remote host is prior to 4.34.3. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CVE-2024-9348 advisory.

 - Docker Desktop before v4.34.3 allows RCE via unsanitized GitHub source link in Build view. (CVE-2024-9348)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Docker for Windows version 4.34.3 or later.
