Synopsis

Adobe Bridge installed on remote Windows host is affected by a vulnerability

Description

The version of Adobe Bridge installed on the remote Windows host is prior to 9.1.0. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the apsb19-37 advisory.

 - Adobe Bridge CC version 9.0.2 and earlier versions have an out of bound read vulnerability. Successful exploitation could lead to Information Disclosure in the context of the current user. (CVE-2019-7963)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Adobe Bridge version 9.1.0 or later.
