Synopsis

The remote CBL Mariner host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of qt5-qtbase installed on the remote CBL Mariner 2.0 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CVE-2022-25255 advisory.

- In Qt 5.9.x through 5.15.x before 5.15.9 and 6.x before 6.2.4 on Linux and UNIX, QProcess could execute a binary from the current working directory when not found in the PATH. (CVE-2022-25255)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
