Synopsis

The remote Red Hat host is missing a security update for poppler.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 9 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the RHSA-2024:9167 advisory.

Poppler is a Portable Document Format (PDF) rendering library, used by applications such as Evince.

Security Fix(es):

* poppler: pdfinfo: crash in broken documents when using -dests parameter (CVE-2024-6239)
