Synopsis

The remote PAN-OS host is affected by a vulnerability

Description

The version of Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS running on the remote host is 10.2.x prior to 10.2.12 or 11.0.x prior to 11.0.6 or 11.1.x prior to 11.1.5 or 11.2.x prior to 11.2.4. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability.

 A command injection vulnerability in Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS software enables an authenticated administrator to bypass system restrictions in the management plane and delete files on the firewall.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to PAN-OS 10.2.12 / 11.0.6 / 11.1.5 / 11.2.4 or later
