Synopsis

The remote Slackware Linux host is missing a security update to python3.

Description

The version of python3 installed on the remote host is prior to 3.12.8 / 3.9.21. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SSA:2024-339-01 advisory.

New python3 packages are available for Slackware 15.0 and -current to fix security issues.
